Another Successful Opening!


Landscape/Dreamscape: Where Reality and the Subconscious Collide opened August 29th with approximately 65 guests. A huge thank you to all who attended, including new guests, old friends, selected artists, and event partners.


This show includes works by artists that explore the thin separation between dreams and reality, where they may overlap, and where they are inseparable.The exhibition features 22 artists and 43 artworks. Artists were encouraged to engage with, and creatively interpret this theme with their individual approach, media, and art making processes. While artworks complement one another as they reflect the theme - they range in size, cost, and style and utilize media including oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed-media, collage, and assemblage.

Wearable Fashion by Mooa Kang

Mooa Kang presented her Camouflage Pattern series during the opening reception in a fashion show and at a vendor booth. This collection integrates decorative patterns into daily outfits to explore self-defense against the objectification of Asian female bodies, drawing inspiration from nature's survival tactics of aposematism.

Live Music by Theresa Redmond

Theresa Redmond is a Seattle-based singer, composer, songwriter, and piano player with a bachelor's degree in vocal performance and a Master of Music in film scoring. Redmond entered the singer/songwriter scene as the backup singer for the Michigan soul-pop band, August, and since moving to Seattle has been performing as a solo artist with her original indie-pop music. Her songs revolve around different life experiences she's faced, expressed through meaningful lyrics and colorful arrangements. She also performs with her three-piece band, Ten Stories Down, and is currently working to record her first album, "Cold Feet".
