Open art call for the upcoming exhibition to celebrate Asian American And Pacific Islander Heritage Month.  April 17th - June 4th, 2025


The Exhibition title will be determined as the show comes together. We welcome feedback and suggestions from the artists.


Gallery B612 invites artists to submit works for our upcoming AAPI exhibition, celebrating the rich heritage, resilience, and contributions of the AAPI community in our local city of Seattle and beyond. This exhibition seeks to showcase diverse artistic expressions that honor API history, culture, identity, and social impact.


With every exhibition Gallery B612 aspires to seek out and support artists, dancers, fashion designers, musicians, and creatives from all backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life.

Art Call Application

Theme/Description: Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Month. (Exhibition title to be determined as the show comes together)

Call Type: Exhibition

Call Eligibility: International, ages 18+

Early Application Deadline: February 17 Early applications will be notified early, accepted artists will be posted as part of the exhibition on our website early, and accepted artwork may be used to promote the show.

Standard Application Deadline: March 17

Exhibition Dates: April 17th - June 4th, 2025

Entry Fee: $25 for the first 3 submissions, then an additional $5 per piece, up to six pieces.

Commission: Gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales of artwork in off-site shows and online.

Shipping and Delivery: Accepted work may be hand delivered or shipped prepaid to arrive no later than January 14.  Artists are responsible for the delivery and return of shipping labels and costs.

Juror: Selected pieces are juried by the curators at Gallery B612.

Media: Original 2D and 3D artworks. Glass, Fiber, Jewelry, Functional, Digital, Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Photography, Installation and Mixed media

Timeline:

  • February 17: The early application process closes at midnight. Notifications will go out by the end of that week.

  • March 17: Standard application process closes at midnight. Notifications will go out by the end of that week.

  • April 10, 11 (11am-6pm) and 12th (11am-2pm): Accepted work(s) needs to be dropped off or delivered to 1915 1st Ave S, Seattle Washington 98134

  • April 17th  Opening Reception 6:30pm- 8:00pm

  • June 4 Exhibition Closes

  • June 5, 6 (11am-6pm) and 7th (11am-2pm):  Local Artists are to pick up their works or schedule an appointment. National artwork will be shipped out to the national artists; the Artist is responsible for shipping and return label costs.


Gallery Artwork Requirements:

All work must be original, unsold work, family-friendly, and the artist must own the sole copyright to art.

Frames, mats and wiring must be professional quality and in good condition. No saw-tooth hangers. Wiring must be securely fashioned and support the weight of the artwork. 2D artwork selected for exhibition MUST BE READY TO HANG on our wire hang system.

No NSF works will be considered for the show.

Consignment will be required for selected pieces in order to be exhibited in the show.
