Open Call for the Upcoming Online-Only exhibition:

Abstraction in Gold

August 15- October 19

From goldenrod and marigold to the treasured metal itself - images of gold speak many languages. It's the warmth of the sun on the skin, a joyful spark in the soul, and a symbol of prestige and fortune.

This exhibition aims to explore the varying symbolism of the color and bring together a collection of international abstract artworks that utilize gold in a fashion vital to their compositions. While the abstract artworks need not be exclusively be monochrome, gold remains the main character. We encourage artists to submit works that use golden-yellows as well as metallic pigments.

This exhibition is part of Gallery B612's online "Abstraction In..." exhibition series, with our premier show, Abstraction in Blue, having featured artworks that uniquely utilized the primary color.
